Sandblasting

Sandblasting

Natural works of art, sandblasted signs are made by blasting exposed wood with a high pressure air and sand mixture. Covering some areas of the sandblasted signs allows for some of the wood to be left unblasted. Upon exposing a sign to this high pressured air-sand mixture etches the image into the sign. The longer the sign is exposed to this sandblasting, the deeper the sandblasted area will be.
